Infant and child CPR, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Lorain County Chapter of the American Red Cross, 2929 West River Road N., Elyria, a basic course to prepare individuals to prevent, recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infant and child victims. Call (440) 324-2929.

Babysitting basics, 1 to 4:30 p.m. at Lorain County Chapter of the American Red Cross and Grafton-Midview Public Library, is sponsoring training classes for youths 11 to 15 years of age at a cost of $40 per person at the library in Grafton. July 24

Seventh annual family fun fest of the Grafton-Midview Public Library will be 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Willow Park in Grafton, bring to an end of the summer reading program and the finale of the 65th anniversary celebration of the library. Tickets are five for $1. The fest will include kids’ tattoo parlor, karaoke, old-fashioned carnival games, raffles, photo booth, food and a concert by the Patriots Community Band and more.
