Monday, Aug. 10
9 p.m. — 400 block Washington St., an employee with Powers Elementary School reported two broken windows.

Tuesday, Aug. 11
4:36 a.m. — 700 block N. Leavitt Road, Brittany Yates, 23, Vermilion, charged with DUI, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct while intoxicated for leaving her van parked at a Speedway gas pump and chasing a man across the street. The man, Rodney Fuqua, 18, Lorain, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
6:34 a.m. — 100 block Milan Ave., an employee at Amherst Junior High School reported graffiti spray-painted on the building.
11:24 p.m. — 500 block Maple St., a woman reported her house was hit with 12 paintballs.

Thursday, Aug. 13
2:08 a.m. — Willow Creek Drive, Jennifer Karney, 30, Amherst, charged with drug abuse and possession of marijuana.
10:13 a.m. — 2000 block Cooper Foster Park Road, a man reported his white 1994 Ford Ranger pickup stolen from the parking lot of Home Mark Realty.
10:32 p.m. — State Route 2 west of Baumhart Road, Julie Chlepciak, 30, Elyria, charged with DUI, possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia, drug abuse instruments, weaving and marked lanes after another motorist told police Chlepciak was “all over the roadway,” according to a police report.

Sunday, Aug. 16
6:36 a.m. — 900 block N. Leavitt Road, a man reported someone broke into his vehicle and stole a DVD player and a GPS unit.
