4:30 p.m. — 300 block West St., theft of Xanax and about 90 CDs from a vehicle.
Saturday, Sept. 5
1:45 a.m. — 120 block Keywood, a nurse on-call from the Cleveland Clinic called police, telling them about a man who said he had taken too much insulin and needed help.
Monday, Sept. 7
12 p.m. — 190 block Parklane, a resident called to report a possible case of domestic violence, but when officers arrived all they saw were two children standing in the window smiling.
12:55 p.m. — 200 block Taylorwood, residents complained of a man burning his compost pile because it was creating a lot of smoke in the neighborhood.
Thursday, Sept. 3
1:56 p.m. — Erie Street, theft of various items from a construction site.
Friday, Sept. 4
5:50 p.m. — Parsons Road, caller advised of a man riding his bike at the Indian Hollow Reservation wearing only black sunglasses, a fanny sack and a helmet. No one was found fitting that description in the park.
7:46 p.m. — Becker Street, an employee from CSX wanted to speak with an officer in regards to a man who has been partying and sleeping in the train cars. CSX Police requested extra patrol of the area and stated he will prosecute anyone found in the train cars.
Sunday, Sept. 6
12:57 a.m. — 900 block Chestnut, loud music complaint.
8:28 p.m. — 1000 block Wabash, a woman called the station after she feared that her soon-to-be ex-husband was abusing the family dog. Officers arrived and found the dog to be very happy and showed no signs of abuse.
