LORAIN - A 29-year-old clerk at Dairy Mart was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning, according to a police report.
The clerk told police she was making sandwiches around 5:45 a.m. at the Dairy Mart at 2806 Grove Ave. when a Hispanic male wearing a black hoodie and black bandana over his face pointed a shotgun at her and demanded money in broken English.
The clerk froze and the robber eventually banged on the cash register keys until the drawer opened. He grabbed an unknown amount of cash and fled the store, running up an alley next to the building, the report said.
The clerk told police a gold vehicle sped down that alley and headed east on East 28th Street and then south on Grove Avenue before she lost sight of it.
The case remains under investigation.

I wonder if this was the same clerk that thought it would be cute to card the off-duty-but-still-in-uniform cop a few months ago? If so, Karma has a nasty way of coming back around…
