Heating bills are going up

Add insulation to your attic and save up to 20% per year

THIS JUST IN… The Department of Energy recently announced an advisement of a minimum of R-49 for Northern Ohio. This is part of President Obama’s “Green Campaign” to aid us in not being “oil dependent”. This translates into at least 18” of insulation in your attic. CHECK out your attic to see if you can SAVE $$money$$ on your Heating & Cooling bills.

George’s Roofing, Inc. has joined forces with Owens Corning and is now offering “Expanding, Blown-In Fiberglass Insulation” in attics. With the rise in utility costs to heat and cool our homes, it was a very simple choice in deciding to offer this feature to our new and old customers.
According to many sources, there is going to be a drastic rise in the costs of heating and cooling our homes each and every year to come. So we, at George’s Roofing, have decided to offer this money-saving tool to you, the public. By adding fiberglass insulation you can SAVE approximately 20% a year on your energy bills. This means you could see a RETURN on your investment in approximately ‘5’ years.

The recommended R-value for insulation in our area is anywhere from R-49 to R-60. This translates into a 18” thick blanket of insulation for minimal thickness of R-39 to a maximum of 22” thick for an R-60. No, of course, not everyone can add this much insulation to their attics, but this is what is recommended. When blowing in additional insulation to your attic, you must take into consideration that you must allow for proper ventilation for maximum effectiveness. Such proper ventilation would include baffles in attic, ridge venting and soffit venting.

roofingBy acting TODAY you can start SAVING MONEY TOMORROW.

Blown-in fiberglass insulation is a worry-free product that will not settle and is virtually mess-free. Also this product is non-combustible, mold resistant, non-corrosive and does not absorb moisture. It is the BEST CHOICE over alternative loose-filled materials.
Blown-in fiberglass insulation works on the principle of trapped air pockets. These tiny pockets are trapped in the insulation and resist the passage of heat flow/heat loss in the winter months and heat gain in the summer months. Generally, the thicker the insulation, the more air pockets you have, and equals greater insulation POWER.

Give us a call and you will receive guaranteed reliable insulation and quality work … all backed by a name you can TRUST.
