Royal Business donates to area schools

Vermilion — On Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, Royal Business Equipment Co. hosted representatives from Intel and Epson at the monthly Lake Erie Educational Computer Association (LEECA) meeting held in Vermilion.
LEECA is an organization that provides innovative and cost-effective technological solutions for their educational consortium, consisting of all the schools in Western Cuyahoga, Erie, Huron, Lorain and Medina counties. The technology coordinators from these schools generally discuss issues that include state funding, projects in progress, and how to solve specific IT problems their school faces, as well as ideas to help all the school systems in the organization.

After the presentation by Royal Business Equipment Co., there was a raffle that awarded an Epson High Definition projector to Keystone Local Schools and a complete Intel-based Mini-ITX computer system and flat screen monitor to Oberlin Schools.
