Update: Lorain man in stable condition after being hit by car
LORAIN — A 20-year-old Lorain man who was hit by a car yesterday afternoon is in good condition this morning.
Solomon Paris was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Lorain and then LifeFlighted to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland after being hit about 4 p.m. on Cooper Foster Park Road.
A witness told Lorain police Paris got off a Lorain County Transit bus that was traveling east on Cooper Foster, ran to the back of the bus, then darted into traffic attempting to cross Cooper Foster.
He ran right in front of a westbound car driven by Bryana Adkins, 17, of Lorain. Adkins told police she had no time to react before hitting Paris, and the witness agreed.
