- A list of election results published Tuesday transposed the results and the parties of the candidates in the Amherst treasurer’s race. The race was won by Democrat Mark S. Hullman, who collected 2,159 votes, according to unofficial election returns. His opponent, Republican Linda I. Hale, had 1,594 votes.
- A headline Tuesday on Page B1 listed an incorrect city for an ongoing investigation involving the discovery of bodies buried at a home in Cuyahoga County. Alleged serial killer Anthony Sowell lived in a home on the east side of Cleveland.
- In stories Oct. 30 through Wednesday about the discovery of corpses in the home of a sex offender, The Associated Press, relying on information from the Cleveland police department, erroneously reported the criminal background of Anthony Sowell. He was convicted of attempted rape, not rape, according to the Ohio prison system and Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court documents.
