Friday, Nov. 6

7:06 p.m. – 4100 block Laurel Road, teen assaulted, cell phone stolen.

7:24 p.m. – 800 block Brownell Ave., Aaron Bailey, 41, of Lorain, charged with domestic violence.

8:59 p.m. – 1500 block W. 24th St., mini refrigerator, DirecTV boxes and television stolen from residence.

10:01 p.m. – 200 block E. 29th St., woman struck by bicycle, and while she was on the ground, the cyclist got off the bike, grabbed her purse and took off on foot.

10:18 p.m. – West 18th Street and Washington Avenue, pizza delivery person robbed.

10:50 p.m. – 1900 block E. 31st St., teen assaulted by a group of males.

10:55 p.m. – 200 block E. 32nd St., Mark Kately, 44, of Lorain, charged with domestic violence and burglary.

11:30 p.m. 2900 block Cromwell Ave., windows and screens broken on vacant rental properties.

Saturday, Nov. 7

12:03 a.m. – 5300 Leavitt Road, Kacy Thorpe, 43, of Lorain, charged with theft for shoplifting two bottles of sparkling wine from Super Kmart.

12:30 a.m. – 2200 block Lorain Drive, window broken on residence.

3:28 a.m. – 4500 block Oakhills Blvd., Max Gibbons, 21, of Lorain, Jonathan Burrow, 22, of Vermilion, and Brandon New, 22, of Brownhelm Township, all charged with disturbing the peace in a loud party.

Friday, Oct. 30

9:55 a.m. — Holy Trinity School, outdoor furniture taken into woods and cement wall spray painted.

12:55 p.m. — National City Bank, thieves broke a vehicle’s window and stole a GPS unit from inside.

Monday, Nov. 2

2:26 a.m. — Stoney Ridge Road and Lakeland Drive, Jacob Hoover, 19, 3100 block Stoney Ridge Road, charged with DUI.

12:18 p.m. — Avon Isle Park, window of park building broken.

Tuesday, Nov. 3

12:37 a.m. — Petitti’s Garden Center, Edward Kozich, 52, 1600 block Elm Drive, charged with DUI.

Wednesday, Nov. 4

8:07 a.m. — Custom Culinary Inc. parking lot, gun stolen from vehicle.

6:05 p.m. — Timberlake Townhomes, police received calls of teens fighting over a baseball. No one was charged.

8:29 p.m. — Wal-Mart, unidentified man stole a shopper’s purse then fled with a white female in her 20s with reddish-brown hair in a silver, older vehicle with loud muffler.
