Lorain police

Wednesday, Nov. 11
10:34 a.m. – 3900 block Reid Ave., a 15-year-old Lorain boy was charged with being unruly and then taken for a psychological evaluation when the teenager admitted to self-mutilation.
11 a.m. – 1900 block Long Ave., unauthorized use of credit card to pay an online bill.
11:19 a.m. – 2400 block W. 21st St., Pamela Flowers, 45, of Lorain, charged with felony theft of $1,901 from Family Dollar where she works. She has repaid $520, according to police.
12:42 p.m. – 400 block W. 4th St., a woman reported the woman who runs the “sober” house she lives in stole and cashed three checks from her bank account totaling more than $700.
1:38 p.m. – 500 block W. 13th St., purse stolen from Columbia Gas vehicle.
5:03 p.m. – West 20th Street and Garden Avenue, Robert Dripcheck, 25, Lorain, charged with driving under three different license suspensions, drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
7:39 p.m. – West Sixth Street and Broadway, a 44-year-old Lorain man reported he was slammed on his head by the man dating the victim’s ex-girlfriend.
7:46 p.m. – 5300 block Leavitt Road, Super Kmart, a 16-year-old Vermilion girl was charged with the theft of miscellaneous items.

Elyria police

Thursday, Nov. 12
10:43 a.m. – 1600 block Middle Ave., Asbury Methodist Church broken into and offices ransacked along with other minor damage.
1:01 p.m. – 400 block High St., jewelry and $500 cash stolen from residence.
1:02 p.m. – 600 block Broad St., the owner of New To You resale shop reported two men stole two rings valued at $72.
4:15 p.m. – 400 block Cleveland St., CVS, two men tried to steal an alarm clock but fled when an employee caught them.
4:55 p.m. – 200 block Broad St., AAA Jewelers, two men stole a $300 diamond tennis bracelet.
7:01 p.m. – 100 block Clinton Ave., slashed tires.
8:35 p.m. – 200 block Washington Ave., an 18-year-old Elyria woman and her 20-year-old friend reported the 18-year-old’s boyfriend shot a .38-caliber handgun at them and refused to let them leave an apartment until a relative of the 18-year-old brought the boyfriend a cigar, according to police. The boyfriend also reportedly kicked the 18-year-old during the incident.
9:32 p.m. – 1800 block Middle Ave., security officers reported fighting with a man not allowed on the premises before the man fled.
10:07 p.m. – 100 block Midway Blvd., Roberto Garcia Jr., 19, Elyria, charged with the theft of more than $100 worth of Yu Gi Oh cards.
