Lorain police

Friday, Nov. 13

11:55 a.m. – 6800 block Roe Lane, more than $1,000 stolen from bank account via westernunion.com.

12:17 p.m. – 1100 block W. 21st St., school-issued laptop stolen.

3: 42 p.m. – 1700 block E. 31st St., school-issued laptop missing.

4:47 p.m. – 1700 block E. 29th St., video game system stolen from residence.

6:32 p.m. – 1500 block Lakeview Ave., wallet stolen from Chapman’s Food Mart.

8:20 p.m. – Maryland Avenue near Colorado Avenue, Cedric Roberson, 41, of Lorain, charged with driving under child support suspension, no muffler, failure to signal, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

8:25 p.m. – 800 block W. 22nd St., a Lorain man reported two men approached him on the street, asked for a cigarette, then hit him in the head with a blunt metal object and stole $100 and a debit card from his pockets.

8:36 p.m. – 300 block W. 35th St., apartment broken into.

Elyria police

Friday, Nov. 13

8 a.m. – 200 block Columbus St. theft of laptop from vehicle.

11:39 a.m. – 600 block Middle Ave., a 17-year-old male student at Elyria High School was charged with carrying a concealed weapon for bringing a knife to school. The student told school official the knife was for protection from “several members from another gang,” according to a police report. An anonymous call from a parent alerted school officials, police said.

4:30 p.m. – 1000 block N. Abbe Road, theft of GPS from vehicle.

4:45 p.m. – 300 block Market Drive, an employee reported a woman stole $27.50 worth of candy, cookies and ice cream from Giant Eagle.

6:55 p.m. – 100 block Virginia Ave., wood-burning stove stolen from residence.

8:40 p.m. – 1600 block West River Road N., GPS stolen from vehicle.

11:15 p.m. – 500 block Washington Ave., credit cards stolen from vehicle.

Sunday, Nov. 8

8:23 a.m. – 14900 block S. Boone Road, Columbia Township, theft of uniforms and children’s clothes from vehicle.

Monday, Nov. 9

3:17 p.m. – 1200 block Park Ave., Amherst Township, Husian Elder, 20, of Elyria, charged with assault for spitting in a woman’s face after she reported him for a work violation at TeleTech and he was fired.

Wednesday, Nov. 11

9:41 a.m. – 39700 block Slife Road, Carlisle Township, golf cart stolen from Carlisle Golf Course.

9:59 p.m. – 19700 block state Route 58, Chris Buri, 38, of Wellington, charged with two counts of domestic violence.
