Basketball program seeks Lil Pioneers

A basketball program designed for young athletes, “The Elyria Lil Pioneers Basketball Skills Camp and League,” prepares students grades three through six for high school athletics.

The camp, headed by Elyria High head basketball coach Brett Larrick, teaches basketball fundamentals such as ball handling, techniques for one-on-one play, basket shooting, defensive moves and team play.

Participating students spend time training for three weeks and then compete for seven weeks.

The program begins 9 to 11 a.m. Dec 5 in Elyria High’s main gym and costs $50 per child.

Registration is due by Dec. 1.

Make checks payable to Elyria Boys Basketball and mail payment to Brett Larrick, head boys basketball coach, in care of Elyria High School, 601 Middle Ave., Elyria, OH 44035.
