Blotter bite

Avon police are looking for a man they say pulled up next to a 7-year-old girl in a van and asked if she needed a ride.

The girl ran into her home in the 35300 block of Livingston Drive after the man spoke to her and the van drove off, police said. The incident took place outside the home about 10:14 a.m. Nov. 15.

The man had glasses and was wearing a red shirt. The minivan was white and did not have windows in the back or sides.

Anyone with information should call the Avon Police Department at (440) 934-1234.
