Blotter bite
Avon police are looking for a man they say pulled up next to a 7-year-old girl in a van and asked if she needed a ride.
The girl ran into her home in the 35300 block of Livingston Drive after the man spoke to her and the van drove off, police said. The incident took place outside the home about 10:14 a.m. Nov. 15.
The man had glasses and was wearing a red shirt. The minivan was white and did not have windows in the back or sides.

Monday, Nov. 16
9:07 a.m. — 36900 block N. Doovys St., swastika drawn on sidewalk in red paint.
Tuesday, Nov. 17
8:33 p.m. — 2100 block Lake Pointe Road, stroller made for a special needs child was stolen.
10:44 p.m. — Village at Avon Apartments, juveniles fighting.

Sunday, Nov. 15
12:20 p.m. — Electric Boulevard and Avon Pointe Avenue, Gable Creek sign and pavement at Kopf Reservation gazebo spray painted.
3:17 p.m. — First block Landings Way, light post knocked down.
Wednesday, Nov. 18
5:15 p.m. — 100 block Artsdale Drive, wallet stolen from vehicle.
