Lorain police
Tuesday, Nov. 24
10:45 a.m. - 2200 block Adam St., Christmas decorations stolen from front yard of home.
11:18 a.m. - 3600 block Toledo Ave., home broken into. Copper pipes cut.
11:48 a.m. - 1100 block Washington Ave., man assaulted by two men.
12:57 p.m. - 1300 block S. Danley Square, home window broken.
1:24 p.m. - 2200 block E. 33rd St., home burglarized. Video game system, 42-inch television, and jewelry worth about $1,000 stolen.
1:41 p.m. - 2200 block Lorain Drive, two men beaten and robbed of about $250 cash.
5:03 p.m. - 1100 block W. 21st St., laptop computer stolen from residence.
6:05 p.m. - 5300 block Leavitt Road, Jeremy Byrd, 33, of Berlin Heights, charged with petty theft for allegedly attempting to shoplift 12 video games worth $410 from Super Kmart.
Wednesday, Nov. 25
8:13 a.m. - 1300 block W. 23rd St., a 25-year-old Lorain man reported he was assaulted outside Kennedy’s Billiards by another man claiming the victim owed him money.
9:01 a.m. - 1100 block W. 10th St., a woman reported her yard has been toilet-papered repeatedly and an expletive written in mustard on the porch stairs.
12:20 p.m. - 1500 block E. 29th St., window in residence smashed.
1:30 p.m. - 1600 block E. Erie Ave., Jon Jackson, 27, of Lorain, arrested by the Northern Ohio Joint Fugitive Task Force on felony warrants and was additionally charged with vicious dog when Jackson’s pit bull attacked one of the officers and bit him on the arm. The dog was shot to death by officers.
2:49 p.m. - Vehicle reported damaged.
3:41 p.m. - 1800 block E. 32nd St., a woman reported her ex-boyfriend threatened to hurt her during an argument. Police said the ex-boyfriend has previously been charged with domestic violence four times but has no convictions.
6:44 p.m. - Theft of two computers and plasma TV reported from residence.
Thursday, Nov. 26
11:37 a.m. - 1000 block W. 12 St., a woman reported three men broke into her residence searching for her boyfriend.
11:59 a.m. - 1000 block W. 12th St., car stereo stolen.
1:39 p.m. - 2900 block Pearl Ave., $800 in cash was stolen from Southerner’s Bar along with an unknown amount of money from a coin-operated game. The suspects smashed a hole in the wall connecting the bar with a vacant storefront next door.
1:46 p.m. - 5300 block Leavitt Road, Melissa Sauer, 32, of Lorain, and two 16-year-old Lorain girls were charged with the theft of jewelry, bras, panties, shoes and other items from Super Kmart.

8:01 a.m. - 100 block Woodbury St., dump truck and trailer stolen from Related Construction.
8:16 a.m. - 100 block Bellfield Ave., stereo, bag and ball caps stolen from vehicle.
8:47 a.m. - 1000 block Infirmary Road, GPS unit stolen from vehicle.
10:26 a.m. - 800 block West River Road N., theft of $33.13 in gasoline from Marathon Gas Station.
3:06 p.m. - 3000 block Midway Mall, an man fled Macy’s Department Store with four stolen track jackets.
3:30 p.m. - Double digits Kennedy Court, a man reported his neighbor punched him in the chest.
