Amherst pair compete in Footlocker cross country event

Junior Miles Pittak and sophomore Adrien Hall of Amherst Steele competed at the 27th annual Foot Locker Midwest Regional Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Kenosha, Wisc.
Pittak finished 180th in 17:44 in the seeded race. Hall ran in the freshmen-sophomore race and was 65th in 18:22.
Sophomore Lukas Verzbicas of Illinois won the seeded race in 15:34. Colorado’s Walter Schafer was second (15:41). The top Ohio finisher, Strongsville senior Colby Alexander, was seventh in 15:49.
