Sunday, Nov. 29
10:01 a.m. – 500 block Cambridge Ave., $75 cash stolen from vehicle.
12:14 p.m. – less than 100 block Williams St., faceplate and tool box stolen from vehicle.
2:30 p.m. – 400 block E. Bridge St., $10 in gas stolen from BP gas station.
3:45 p.m. – 4500 Midway Mall, Jason Harris, 26, of Elyria, charged with the theft of clothing from JCPenney.
4:20 p.m. – 200 block Market Drive, Bryce Babies, 21, of Amherst, charged with criminal tools and the theft of electronics from Target.
8:13 p.m. – 100 block Antioch Drive, an employee at Stubby’s Pub reported a man left without paying his bill.
Lorain police
Sunday, Nov. 29
2:34 a.m. – 1200 block W. Erie Ave., DVD player and TV stolen from residence.
6:09 a.m. – 3500 block Beavercrest Drive, Brandon Nelson, 21, of Lorain, charged with criminal damaging.
4:58 p.m. – West 17th Street and Oakdale Avenue, Ewing Flowers Jr., 30, of Lorain, charged with assault on a police officer and disorderly conduct persisting after he allegedly hit the officer trying to put him in a cruiser for being disorderly.
8:09 p.m. – 1900 block Homewood Drive, a 14-year-old Lorain girl was charged with being unruly and with underage consumption of alcohol.
10:05 p.m. – East 28th Street and Pearl Avenue, Evelyn Velez-Gonzalez, 50, of Lorain, charged with driving while intoxicated, driving under suspension and failure to yield.
County sheriff
Tuesday, Nov. 24
11:15 a.m. – 4400 Dunton Road, Sheffield Township, Billie Perez, 23, of Lorain, charged with domestic violence.
Saturday, Nov. 28
3:48 a.m. – 8800 West Ridge Road, Elyria Township, Nicklaus Maharidge, 19, of Elyria, charged with theft, two counts of breaking and entering, obstructing official business and resisting arrest after deputies caught him inside a barn in the area which led to the discovery of property from two separate break-ins, according to a report. Some of the property recovered could be from break-ins going back “several years,” according to deputies.
