Saturday, Nov. 28
4:13 a.m. – 1800 E. 30th St., Eddie Gage, 20, of Lorain, charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, obstructing official business, driving under suspension, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Wendy Allen, 36, of Lorain, charged with making false alarms, obstructing official business and wrongful entrustment of a motor vehicle. After Gage allegedly crashed Allen’s car, Allen called police and claimed she’d been driving and crashed when someone shot at her, according to police.
Wednesday, Dec. 9
10:32 a.m. – 500 block W. 23rd St., attempted theft of a car.
4:20 p.m. – 400 block W. Fourth St., man attempts to purchase $112.04 worth of merchandise from Dollar General by check, which is declined. Man leaves store, returns less than five minutes later and steals cart full of merchandise he tried to buy.

2:30 p.m. – 1300 block Shaffer Drive, Video game system stolen from residence.
7 p.m. – 900 block W. 11th St., a man reported his son stole his stepdaughter’s cell phone.
7:01 p.m. – 4500 block Oakhill Blvd., residence broken into and cash, jewelry and a Nintendo Wii game system stolen.
8:06 p.m. – 1500 block Broadway, a woman reported her former roommate damaged her futon.
10:28 p.m. – 3200 block Oberlin Ave., counterfeit $10 bill passed at McDonald’s.

Thursday, Dec. 10
8:06 a.m. – less than 100 block Hawthorne St., air conditioning condenser stolen.
9:01 a.m. – 100 block Dorset Court, vehicle spray painted and a Snickers candy bar stuck in the gas tank.
2:55 p.m. – A woman came to the police station to report someone had used her personal banking information to make fake checks and had tried to spend nearly $2,300 before she spotted the discrepancies on her bank statement.
4:45 p.m. – 4900 block Midway Mall, Bud Tillman, 22, of Elyria, charged with the theft of clothing from Sears.
7:30 p.m. – 3000 block Midway Mall, Thomas McGrath, 25, of Lorain, charged with the theft of perfume from Macy’s.
8:29 p.m. – 300 block Michigan Ave., nearly $10,000 in electronics and jewelry stolen from residence.
Friday, Dec. 11
5 a.m. – 100 block Pratt Blvd., Beverly Stiller, 30, of Elyria, charged with domestic violence after coming home drunk and throwing glass jars and other household items at her husband during an argument while their young children were in the home, according to police.

7:44 p.m. – 5400 block Liberty Ave., a woman reported her ex-boyfriend was texting and calling her in violation of a temporary protection order.
