The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for all of northern Ohio, including Lorain County, that will be in effect from noon tomorrow through 7 p.m. Wednesday. A winter storm watch previously issued will no longer be in effect.

Forecasters say another winter storm is on the way that could leave the state with another deep coating of white.

Expected snowfall totals through Wednesday range from up to six inches in Cincinnati to as much as a foot in Toledo, Cleveland and Youngstown.

According to the National Weather Service, low pressure will move across northern Ohio tonight, and snow associated with the low will begin late Tuesday morning and continue through late Wednesday.

1 to 3 inches of snow is expected by sunset Tuesday with another 3 to five inches Tuesday night and additional snowfall on Wednesday. Total accumulation is expected to be 6 to 9 inches.

Winds of 10 to 20 mph Tuesday evening and 15 to 25 mph Wednesday are expected to cause blowing and drifting snow

During the storm driving will be hazardous and extreme caution is urged.
