Sunday, Feb. 7

1:23 p.m. – 300 block Broad St., a man reported his brother hit him.

3:30 p.m. – 1000 block Chestnut Commons, Adam Fankhauser, 26, Vermilion, charged with the theft of a red dot scope from Wal-Mart.

3:32 p.m. – 300 block Furnace St., a woman reported someone stole her Nintendo Wii game system, controllers and games from her residence.

6:08 p.m. – 1500 block N. West River Road, Nicole Phares, 18, of Elyria, and a 17-year-old Elyria boy were charged with receiving stolen property for trying to sell a stolen Nintendo Wii game system, its accessories and games to The Exchange.

6:25 p.m. – 500 block S. Abbe Road, a woman reported her ex-boyfriend broke into her apartment and stole her cell phone, leaving only when a neighbor called the police.

9:48 p.m. –100 block Lake Ave., a man reported he was jumped from behind as he left the Circle K but couldn’t remember anything, a police report stated. Employees at Circle K told police they saw a man punch the victim in the back of the head.

Saturday, Feb. 6

10:41 p.m. – East 28th Street and Elyria Avenue, Kenneth Shineafelt, 24, of Elyria, charged with driving under suspension, drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Sunday, Feb. 7

2:30 a.m. – 2200 block Lorain Drive, five vehicles had tires slashed.

8:10 p.m. – West 14th Street and Lexington Avenue, police heard shots fired and found one spent round in the 400 block of West 14th Street, but no other evidence.

8:32 p.m. – 700 block W. Ninth St., a woman reported the father of her children threatened to harm her current boyfriend.

9:48 p.m. – 2100 block E. 31st St., Sony PlayStation 3 game system, accessories and games stolen from residence.

10:40 p.m. – West 22nd Street near Oakdale Avenue, Jason Davidson, 33, of Lorain, charged with possession of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence.

Monday, Feb. 8

9:20 a.m. – 1200 block W. 15th St., stove stolen from rental property.

9:45 a.m. – 3100 block Broadway, coin machine at Broadway Car Wash tampered with.

10:40 a.m. – 2100 block Lorain Drive, two tires punctured.

12:31 p.m. – West 23rd Street and Reeves Avenue, Clarence McCall Jr., 46, of Lorain, charged with expired plates and no driver’s license.

2:33 p.m. – East 30th Street and Globe Avenue, Antony Blue Jr., 27, of Lorain, charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under revocation or suspension and stop sign violation.

2:42 p.m. – 6400 block Broadway, two tires punctured.

3:15 p.m. – 3100 block Oberlin Ave., debit card stolen, unauthorized purchase of $37.56 made on card.

County sheriff

Sunday, Feb. 7

6 p.m. – 41800 block Debra Drive, Elyria Township, Chary Turner, 51, of Elyria Township, charged with domestic violence for telling a sheriff’s deputy she wanted to kill her husband.
