NFL scouting combine reaches Day 3

INDIANAPOLIS — The third day of the scouting combine has started. Browns general manager Tom Heckert and coach Eric Mangini are slated to meet with the media late Saturday afternoon.

The rest of the day will be spent interviewing defensive linemen and linebackers. The Browns are in the market for a starting inside linebacker, and possibly an outside linebacker — depending on what happens with restricted free agent Matt Roth. They would also like to add depth on the defensive line.

Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford and Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen didn’t make it into the interview room Friday, so they’re expected to stop today.
