Woman in jail after police say she shot boyfriend over the weekend

A Sheffield Lake man is in fair condition at a Cleveland hospital after being shot Saturday in the abdomen by his girlfriend, police said in a press release. Shaq will miss approximately 8 weeks

Cavaliers center Shaquille O’Neal underwent what the team called “successful” surgery on his right thumb Monday morning and is expected to miss approximately eight weeks. That means the 7-foot-1, 325-pound center will miss the final 22 games of the regular season, but could return sometime in the first round of the playoffs.
