Saturday, March 5

9:06 a.m. – 300 block East Ave., vehicle scratched and dented.

1:40 p.m. – 100 block Midway Mall, Brett Scott, 43, of Lorain, charged with theft after returning fake diamond earrings to Wal-Mart.

3 p.m. – East Avenue and Howe Street, Tremayne Wallace, 22, of Elyria, arrested on two warrants after a traffic stop.

Saturday, March 6

3:25 a.m. – 100 block Stanford Ave., window of residence broken.

12:12 p.m. – 4900 block Midway Mall, 1997 white Chevy with a red Western snow plow attached stolen from Sears Department Store’s parking lot. The vehicle was later found in the 5600 block of Detroit Road in Sheffield and returned to the owner.

4:15 p.m. – 1200 block Lake Ave., wallet stolen from Mr. Hero.

6:20 p.m. – 1100 block Chestnut Commons, an employee at Wal-Mart is being investigated for using a stolen Wal-Mart gift card.

Sunday, March 7

12:13 a.m. – 1100 block Middle Ave., tires slashed on vehicle.

12:30 a.m. – 1100 block Middle Ave., tires slashed on vehicle.

1:02 a.m. – 400 block West River Road N., back window of vehicle shattered with a rock.

3:30 a.m. – 6300 block S. Gateway Blvd., a woman reported the father of her child choked her and bit her arm and her breast during an argument about her going out with friends before fleeing her residence with her cell phone. The suspect has two prior domestic violence convictions.

Thursday, March 4

2:50 a.m. – 12400 block Alton Drive, Eaton Township, 1994 Chevy stolen from residence.

Friday, March 5

2:42 a.m. – 45600 block Telegraph Road, Amherst Township, the bartender at Timber’s Bar reported someone poured soda in his gas tank.

4:17 a.m. – 48700 block Bursley Road, Rochester Township, domestic dispute.

7:38 a.m. – 39600 block Butternut Ridge Road, Carlisle Township, cash, coins and a purse stolen from residence.

Lorain police

Saturday, March 6

2:44 a.m. – 2200 block E. 28th St., Allen Vroman, 40, of Sheffield Lake, charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated and public indecency for urinating in a parking lot.

2:10 p.m. – 1700 block Garden Ave., Victor Diaz, 28, of Elyria, charged with domestic violence for fighting with his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend and for threatening the ex-girlfriend, who is also the mother of his children, with a baseball bat.

11: 57 p.m. – 700 block W. 23rd St., six boxes of Girl Scout cookies, two credit cards, a food stamp card, four social security cards, $65 cash, 20 CDs and other items stolen from vehicle.

Sunday, March 7

2:22 a.m. – 2100 block W. 24th St., a woman reported her ex-boyfriend and the father of her three children slapped her and choked her, broke her cell phone and broke most of the furnishings in her living room.

2:40 a.m. – 1800 block E. 32nd St., a Coach purse with a cell phone and $600 cash stolen.
