Cabrera strains groin and is day-to-day

Indians second baseman Asdrubal Cabrera will most likely miss at least a week after sustaining a strained left groin in Cleveland’s 7-all tie with the Angels on Friday at Goodyear Ballpark.

Cabrera sustained the injury while diving back to third base on a pick off attempt. He said the injury wasn’t serious and that he is day-to-day, but the Indians will most likely be cautious with their leadoff hitter.
