It’s official: Browns announce Jake Delhomme signing

BEREA — Veteran quarterback Jake Delhomme signed  his two-year contract Monday, the team announced. He agreed to the deal Saturday and is expected to be the starter in 2010.

President Mike Holmgren has revamped the quarterback position in the last week, releasing Derek Anderson, trading Brady Quinn to Denver and trading for Seattle’s Seneca Wallace.

Holmgren and coach Eric Mangini are scheduled to address the media at 4 p.m.
