Couple awake to find escaped inmate standing over their bed

LORAIN — A Reid Avenue couple awoke Wednesday night to find a man standing over them who asked for the female owner of the house they were in.
Police said Lee B. Anderson, 28, took cell phones from the couple and began calling and texting the woman. While he was occupied, they slipped off to call police.
The couple said the man entered the house through a broken rear window.
Anderson was charged with burglary. Police said he may face additional charges for escape from the Lorain-Medina Community Based Correctional Facility.
