Monday, March 15
3:43 p.m. – 3000 block Colorado Ave., theft of bank card, unauthorized charges reported.
Tuesday, March 16
12:11 p.m. – 1500 block W. 28th St., theft of purse from vehicle.
12:39 p.m. – 900 block Central Drive, home broken into, cell phone stolen.
Wednesday, March 17
3:15 p.m. – 100 block W. 30th St., sexual text messages sent to minor reported.
Thursday, March 18
9:53 a.m. – 500 block W. 23rd St., Jerome Finley, 66, of Lorain, charged with failure to have dog registered or immunized after it bit a 13-year-old girl.
12:24 p.m. – 200 block W. 38th St., two teenage females charged with assault.
4:22 p.m. – 1100 block W. 37th St., Milton Velasquez, 41, of Lorain, charged with domestic violence.
Saturday, March 20
7:15 a.m. – West Ninth Street and Washington Avenue, sky blue 1997 Ford Ranger stolen.
8:55 a.m. – 100 block W. 27th St., Joseph Hildreth, 21, of Lorain, charged with domestic violence for blocking his wife from leaving a residence and trying to smash her vehicle window with a brick, a police report said. The couple’s 6-month-old daughter was in her car seat next to the window Hildreth allegedly tried to shatter.
9:33 a.m. – 100 block W. 18th St., copper pipe and a hot water heater stolen from the laundry room at Lakeview Plaza which allowed water from a hot water tank spray and flood the room.
1:38 p.m. – 900 block S. Central Drive, back door of residence kicked in and 30 video games stolen.
2:29 p.m. – 3800 block Toledo Ave., Lilybette Negron, 19, of Lorain, charged with domestic violence for slapping her sister during an argument.
2:43 p.m. – 1700 block Broadway, a woman reported the theft of collectible coins from her apartment.
5:33 p.m. – 1000 block Long Ave., Nicholas Zaenglein, of Lorain, charged with domestic violence for choking his girlfriend when she asked him to do the dishes.
6:51 p.m. – 3600 block Canton Ave., theft of $450 cash from residence.
7:33 p.m. – 1500 block E. 29th St., cell phone stolen from residence.
10:55 p.m. – 200 block Hamilton Ave., Codshe Berger, 32, of Lorain, charged with disrupting public service for repeatedly calling 911 about a lost cell phone after he was told to stop because it wasn’t an emergency.
