Think you can sing? Crushers holding anthem auditions

Think you have what it takes to sing the national anthem at a Lake Erie Crushers game?

The Crushers want you to prove it.

They’re hosting auditions Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at All Pro Freight Stadium.

The Crushers say they’re looking for skilled performers to sing the national anthem at games throughout the season. Singers are unpaid but receive two tickets to the game and a photograph of their performance.

The team is also looking for talented bands to perform this summer at the ballpark. Bands are unpaid but receive tickets to the game and the chance to play before thousands of fans. Bands must provide all of their own sound equipment.

The national anthem at each game is presented by LifeShare Community Blood Services, the official blood center of the Lake Erie Crushers.

Interested individuals or groups should pre-register for the auditions at the Crushers website, There is no fee to participate. For more information, please contact Nicolle Meyer at
