Monday, April 19

5:58 a.m. – 200 block E. 28th St., a woman reported her boyfriend showed up at her residence in violation of a temporary protection order and punched her in the face during an argument.

Tuesday, April 20

9:45 p.m. – 3700 block Kolbe Road, a man reported a friend held him while another friend repeatedly hit him while the three were drinking.

10:56 p.m. – 3900 block Reid Ave., a woman reported her uncle slapped her during an argument.

Wednesday, April 21

1:15 a.m. – 900 block Highland Park Road, four tires removed from vehicle and put on neighbor’s tree lawn.

1:21 a.m. – West 22nd Street and Reid Avenue, Mathew Noble Jr., 35, of Lorain, charged with driving under suspension, possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop.

2:36 a.m. – 2800 block Broadway, Dairy Mart, employee said a man stole about $10 in firewood from the store.

10:13 a.m. – 100 block Clark St., a man reported he received a fraudulent $3,500 check for a car motor he’s selling on eBay.

11:13 a.m. – 800 block Griswold Road, copper pipe stolen from residence.

2:15 p.m. – A woman came to the police station to report her boyfriend has physically abused her and their 10-month-old son since August 2008.

5:36 p.m. – 400 block Carol Lane, a woman reported a fraudulent $4,800 check was written on her bank account.

6 p.m. – 1200 block Foster Ave., a 12-year-old Elyria girl was charged with assault for slapping and punching another juvenile girl at West Park.

6:21 p.m. – 1000 block North Abbe Road, Lorain County Community College, a woman reported the theft of her wallet from her purse which she’d left in a classroom.

Wednesday, April 21

7:30 a.m. – 1400 block Prospect St., shed at Prospect School damaged.
