8:30 a.m. – 100 block Preston St., credit card fraud reported.
12:12 p.m. – 600 block S. Abbe Road, video game system stolen from residence.
1:00 p.m. – 3100 block Midway Mall, complaint of payment by check from a closed account.
3:37 p.m. – 400 block Adams St., package stolen from porch of residence.
4:03 p.m. – 100 block College Park Drive, cash, video game system and video games stolen from residence.
7:33 p.m. – 3000 block Midway Mall, Macy’s, Aaron Solomon, 41, of Elyria, charged with theft, accused of shoplifting $390.84 in merchandise.
8:13 p.m. – 100 block Clark St., bicycle stolen from backyard of residence.
8:19 p.m. – 1100 block Melvyn Lane, home broken into, printer and ring stolen.
9:26 p.m. – 600 block N. Abbe Road, Adam Johns, 27, of Elyria, charged with aggravated menacing.
9:46 p.m. – 500 block East Ave., Shanese Jackson, 21, of Elyria, charged with menacing.
10:08 p.m. – Foster Avenue and Lorain Boulevard, person in passing car throws two apples at 62-year-old woman sitting on bus stop bench, hitting her and breaking skin on her arm.
11:01 p.m. – 100 block Arrow Court, prescription medication stolen.
Wednesday, July 28
1:11 a.m. – 100 block Franklin Ave., Samuel Shoemaker, 26, of Elyria, arrested on an outstanding warrant after police were called to the scene to break up a fight.
