ELYRIA — An Elyria father called police over the weekend after he awoke early in the morning to find his 13-year-old daughter unconscious in her bed with a boy.
Police were called to the Antioch Drive home about 5:45 a.m. Sunday. The father told them he could not wake his daughter and he feared she had been sexually assaulted.
The father said his daughter had a friend, another 13-year-old girl, spending the night and that he had gone to bed. When he awoke at 5:45 a.m., he found the friend on the porch with three boys.
He told the friend to get inside and asked where his daughter was.
He found her naked in her bedroom with another boy. The daughter was unconscious and would not wake up when her father or officers tried.
The girl was taken by ambulance to EMH Regional Medical Center.
The friend told the father that after he went to bed the two contacted one of the boys and asked him to come over. He arrived with three other boys, and the group had brought liquor with them in a glass bottle, she told police.
The friend said she only had a sip but that the first girl had quite a bit.
The friend said the boys were also smoking something, and she believed it was cigarettes.
The father was also instructed to have a sexual assault kit done while at EMH.
