Edna F. Hluszti (nee Johnson), 85, of Ely­ria, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at Wooster Community Hospital, following a long illness. She was born March 27, 1925 in Seawright, Pennsyl­vania.

She was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Edna worked as a secretary at the Somers Insurance Agency in Elyria for 40 years, retiring in 1993. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Joseph; sons, Gary Hluszti of Creston and Greg Hluszti of Vermilion; four grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.

The fam­ily will receive friends Sunday, August 29, 2010, from 2 to 5 P.M., at the Laubenthal-Mer­cado Funeral Home, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria, 440-322-4626. Services will be Monday, August 30, 2010, 10:30 A.M., in the funeral home. The Rev­erend Chuck Behrens, Chap­lain of Hospice of the Wes­tern Reserve, will officiate. Burial will be at Ridgehill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
