11:04 a.m. – Midway Mall, $191.54 reported stolen from Things Remembered.

Saturday, Aug. 28

12:53 p.m. – 600 block Bell Ave., 9 mm handgun found in yard. Gun had been reported stolen to Lorain police.

3:22 p.m. – 1100 block Garden Ave., attempted break-in of residence. Suspect, who was observed cutting at a screen window, fled when teenaged female in house began yelling.

4:45 p.m. – 1000 block Chestnut Commons Drive, Latisha Beasley, 28, of North Ridgeville, charged with theft, accused of shoplifting about $58 in merchandise from Wal-Mart.

Sunday, Aug. 29

12:08 a.m. – 900 block E. Broad St., Shawn Paramore, 21, of Elyria, charged with theft, accused of shoplifting beer from Speedway.

9:28 a.m. – Lake Avenue and Parkview Court, Joanne Maynard, 40, of Lorain, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing official business.

10:30 a.m. – 600 block Cleveland St., Amanda Brown, 24, of Elyria, charged with obstructing official business and misuse of a credit card. Mark Streets, 36, of Elyria, charged with obstructing official business, misuse of a credit card and receiving stolen property.

1:37 p.m. – 100 block Cheshire Lane, disturbance between two people.

2:12 p.m. – Fifth Street and East Avenue, Leslie Keller, 39, of Elyria, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, changing course and weaving course.

3:03 p.m. – 800 block Hollywood Drive, home spray-painted with vulgarities.

4:30 p.m. – 1200 block West Ave., Tina Allgood, 39, of Elyria, charged with burglary.

4:49 p.m. – Fourth Street and West Avenue, Frank Hubert, 21, of Elyria, charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, weaving course and driving under suspension. Kelly Abbot, 19, of Elyria, charged with possession of marijuana.

6:11 p.m. – 1000 block Barbara St., juvenile rides bike into parked car in driveway.

6:12 p.m. – 200 block Warden Ave., home broken into, video game system, computers and television stolen.

7:23 p.m. – 500 block S. Abbe Road, fraudulent debit card use reported.

8:57 p.m. – 200 block Fourth St., iPod and purse stolen from vehicle.

9:43 p.m. – 100 block Reaser St., office broken into, wallet containing $200 cash stolen.

Monday, Aug. 30

12:56 a.m. – 900 block Foster Ave., Donte Griffin, 21, of Elyria, charged with burglary and obstruction of official business. He was also arrested on a warrant for domestic violence.

Thursday, Aug. 26

3:24 p.m. – West 22nd Street and Reeves Avenue, Erica Armstrong, 22, of Lorain, charged with no driver’s license and stop sign violation.

Friday, Aug. 27

3:29 p.m. – 5300 block Leavitt Road, two teenaged females charged with theft, accused of shoplifting about $139 in cosmetics and beauty products from Super Kmart.
