The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Chad Everett Earl, 39, of Lorain, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic surrounded by his family. He was born December 2, 1970 in Oberlin.
He worked as a social worker, commuÂnity activist and menÂtor. He was a graduate of Elyria High School and reÂceived his masters from Cleveland State University in 2007.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of OberÂlin, Community that Cares, Big Brothers & Sisters Club, 100 Men of Lorain County, Boys to Men Ministry of Mt. Zion in Oberlin, U.M.A.D.O.P. Chad was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed playing Madden football and fantasy football.
He is survived by his wife, Lynette L. Earl of Lorain; father, Craig (Susan) RobinÂson of Oberlin; son, Ricky A. Earl of Lorain; daughters, Rashay S. Earl and Raven S. Earl, both of Lorain; godchilÂdren, Terrance, Xavier, TanÂzania, Turmell, Alivia and Omarion; broÂthers, Marshall B. Robinson of LouisÂville, Kentucky, Tory T. Blevins of Cleveland and Joseph D. Tatum of Oberlin; sisters, Felicia S. Earl of RichÂmond Hts. and Carissa D. Robinson of Cleveland; maternal grandmother, Ellen Jones of Oberlin and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nepÂhews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ardinal C. Earl.
Visitation will be Friday, September 3, 2010 from 10 A.M. until the time of serviÂces at 12 Noon at Faith MinisÂtries Christian Center, LorÂain. Rev. Anthoni D. McElÂrath of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Alvin and Diane Lindsey of Faith Ministries Christian Center, will officiÂate. Interment will be in Westwood Cemetery.
