The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Elisabeth J. “Liz” Lamm, 68, passed away suddenly August 29, 2010.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Myron and Lucille (nee Bennett); dear sister of Margaret “Maggie”; niece of Patricia Shoop of Illinois; cousin and friend of many.
Liz was a retired math teacher for the Nordonia Hills School District.
A Memorial Service will be held 4:30 P.M., Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Fields United Methodist Church, 34077 Lorain Rd., N. Ridgeville. Dr. Tom Joyce, Pastor, will be celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Fields United Methodist Church.
