11:04 a.m. – 900 block East Ave., bank fraud reported.

2:34 p.m. – 200 block Washington Ave., cell phone, music player, camera and iPod stolen from residence.

7:34 p.m. – 300 block Princeton Ave., bank fraud reported.

7:36 p.m. – 300 block Broad St., purse stolen at Pudge’s Place.

10:22 p.m. – 100 block Brunswick Drive, one dog jumped through screen door of residence to attack another dog in parking lot.

11:32 p.m. – 200 block Ninth St., Alverno Howse, 41, of Elyria, charged with aggravated menacing.

Tuesday, Aug. 31

12:30 a.m. – 200 block Washington Ave., window broken at residence.

12:30 a.m. – 100 block Roosevelt Ave., rock thrown through window at residence.

12:57 a.m. – 15th Street and railroad tracks, Sherry Day, 47, of Elyria, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and marked lanes violation. Rodney Mason, 45, of Elyria, arrested on a warrant from Kentucky for flagrant non-support of dependents. Mason was taken to the Lorain County Jail pending extradition to Kentucky.

7:16 a.m. – 1800 block Lorain Blvd., car broken into at Holiday Inn parking lot, GPS unit stolen.

8:27 a.m. – 600 block Midway Blvd., car broken into at Red Roof Inn parking lot, GPS unit stolen.

8:31 a.m. – 300 block Prospect St., car wash coin machine damaged in attempt to get the coins inside.

10:29 a.m. – 500 block Third St., vehicle window smashed while parked in driveway.

10:30 a.m. – 300 block Harvard Ave., wedding ring and knife stolen from vehicle.

11:15 a.m. – 500 block Broad St., identity theft reported.

11:30 a.m. – 100 block Bell Ave., home broken into while resident was on vacation, cash and video game system taken.

11:59 a.m. – 1800 block Turner Road, credit card misused while owner was in prison.

3:32 p.m. – 800 block West Ave., glasses stolen from residence.

4:51 p.m. – 400 block Sixth St., video game system reported stolen from residence.

8:22 p.m. – 100 block Cascade St., kids ride bikes into parked car, scratching it.

9:14 p.m. – 100 block College Park Drive, prescription medication reported missing.

9:22 p.m. – 100 block California Ave., pear thrown through window of residence.

Wednesday, Sept. 1

12:02 a.m. – 200 block Cleveland St., all four tires of vehicle slashed.

12:38 a.m. – 500 block N. Abbe Road, fight in Circle K parking lot.

1:20 a.m. – 100 block Cascade St., home broken into while family was sleeping. Prescription medicine, video games, cigarettes and cash stolen. Suspect fled when teenaged son awoke and chased him.

6:10 a.m. – 200 block Fifth St., car parked in driveway broken into, college textbooks, iPod and jack stolen.

5:14 p.m. – 1000 block W. Ninth St., purse containing Social Security cards, medical cards and a checkbook stolen from vehicle.

6:43 p.m. – 800 block W. 17th St., domestic violence reported.

8:02 p.m. – 200 block W. Ninth St., Michael McAfee, 27, of Lorain, charged with failure to comply, driving under revocation or suspension and improperly leaving the curb. Clarence Smith, 52, of Lorain, charged with possession of cocaine. Coretta Fairley, 52, of Lorain, charged with wrongful entrustment.

Saturday, Aug. 28

10:50 a.m. – 2200 block Stonepath St., identity fraud reported.

11:50 a.m. – 2200 block Pole Ave., vehicle damaged with hammer.

12:02 p.m. – 3900 block Lorain Ave., shed broken into, weed trimmer, leaf blower and power washer stolen.

1:31 p.m. – 400 block Driftwood Drive, vehicle broken into, window smashed, GPS unit stolen.

3:10 p.m. – 1300 block W. 14th St., one teenage female charged with felonious assault, another teenage female charged with assault.

1:49 p.m. – 1500 block Nevada Ave., domestic violence reported.

3:40 p.m. – 5400 block Pearl Ave., Gregory Payne, 48, of Lorain, charged with obstructing official business, disorderly conduct, disorderly conduct persisting and criminal trespass.

3:44 p.m. – 4100 block Laurel Road, rock thrown through window of residence.

3:50 p.m. – 300 block Illinois Ave., three teenage females charged with criminal trespass and criminal damaging/endangering after being caught tagging the Fairhome School building.

4:24 p.m. – 700 block Tower Blvd., concession building near football field vandalized with spray-paint graffiti.
4:47 p.m. – 1900 block E. 36th St., domestic violence reported.

5:49 p.m. – 3800 block Jaeger Road, domestic violence reported.

6:41 p.m. – 1000 block W. 20th St., domestic violence reported.

6:52 p.m. – 1700 block Pennsylvania Court, Daniel Roblero, 22, of Lorain, charged with domestic violence.

9:53 p.m. – 3800 block Canton Ave., pizza stolen from delivery person.

10:54 p.m. – East 30th Street and Pearl Avenue, bottle thrown at passing vehicle, windshield damaged.

11:28 p.m. – 4200 block Woodstock Drive, laptop computer stolen from residence.

12:50 a.m. – 1900 block E. 37th St., home broken into, iPhone and jewelry stolen.

1:22 a.m. – 2000 block W. 39th St., Bradley Hampton, 46, of Lorain, charged with domestic violence and violating a protection order.

1:38 a.m. – 1800 block E. 42nd St., metal storm door kicked, dented.

9:05 a.m. – 3700 block Lorain Ave., 13-year-old male charged with breaking and entering to commit theft, unruly child and receiving stolen property after being found with a stolen minibike.

2:13 p.m. – 5400 block Seven Pines Drive, vehicle keyed.

2:34 p.m. – 1000 block W. 12th St., window damaged in possible burglary attempt.

5:17 p.m. – 1900 block Meister Road, car window shot out with BB gun.

7:56 p.m. – West 10th Street and Washington Avenue, teenaged male charged with speeding and driving under suspension. Antwaun Carlton, 20, of Lorain, charged with wrongful entrustment.

8:27 p.m. – West 10th Street and Oberlin Avenue, Angel Ruiz, 27, of Lorain, charged with excessive noise and driving under suspension.

11:10 p.m. – West 17th Street and Long Avenue, Stephen Robinson, 47, of Wellington, charged with driving while intoxicated, obstructing official business, resisting arrest, driving under revocation or suspension, stop sign violation and open container prohibited.
