Parma 28, Lorain 0 — More than 4,000 fans turned out for the Titans’ first game at George Daniel Field, but the home team couldn’t score.

Amherst 34, Midview 7 — Amherst scored on Brennan Hosier TD passes to Jordan Irvin (10 yards) and Jason Stump (23 yards) and runs by Zach Kelley (7 yards) and Stump (32 yards). The Middies recovered a fumble on the Amherst 7 midway through the second leading to Tate Smith’s 7-yard scoring run. There was a delay in the game due to scoreboard problems.

Elyria 10, North Olmsted 6 — Elyria scored on Mike Grissom’s 1-yard run and Bryce Ziegman’s 27-yard FG. The Eagles’ score came in the third on a 28-yard halfback pass from Marc Remy to Michael Gessner.

Elyria Catholic 42, Buckeye 18 — Stellar game for the Panther playmakers. Danny Reaser passed for a career-high 396 yards, 5 TDS and two 2-point conversions. Zach Rogers set what could be an EC single-game receiving record with 279 yards on 15 receptions and 3 TDs.
