9:49 a.m. – 1800 block Lorain Blvd., report of a cell phone stolen from a hotel room.

10:09 a.m. – 200 block 15th St., a woman reported a GPS unit valued at $100 and six pairs of her son’s Michael Jordan basketball shoes valued at $900 from her vehicle that was parked in her open garage.

2:32 p.m. – 100 block Market Drive, Home Depot, a change purse containing $70 in cash was reported stolen from the register line.

4:35 p.m. – 1200 block East Ave., stereo system stolen from a vehicle.

5:35 p.m. – 100 block Hillsdale Court, report of a fight between neighbors.

7:53 p.m. – 100 block of Berwick Court, Richard Banks, 27, of Elyria, was charged with assault for allegedly punching and kicking another man.

9:31 p.m. – West Avenue, an acquaintance allegedly pursued a tow truck driver and broke one of the truck’s headlights.

Thursday, Oct. 21

8:07 a.m. – 300 block 17th St., thieves broke into two vehicles and stole a wallet and about $3,000 worth of dog grooming tools.

9:34 a.m. – 1200 block East Ave., two windows found broken and door kicked in during apparent attempted burglary.

11:53 a.m. – 100 block Winckles St., welder outfit stolen from garage.

12:35 p.m. – 300 block Eighth St., radar detector stolen from car.

3:13 p.m. – 7600 block West River Road S., back door kicked in by thieves who stole a 42-inch TV and Xbox 360.

3:30 p.m. – Jeffrey Carson, 27, 400 block Wesley Ave., charged with domestic violence, resisting arrest and obstructing official business.

3:32 pm. – Walmart, 1000 Chestnut Commons Drive, Lakeisha Fain, 29, 1800 block Middle Ave., charged with theft of multiple items from the discount racks.

4:36 p.m. – 200 block Canary Drive, thieves broke into a home and stole a laptop and Xbox 360.

5:53 p.m. – Educational Alternatives, 1514 Lake Ave., student threw rocks at west side of school, breaking a window.

8:23 p.m. – 200 block West River Road N., thieves broke into a home and stole a 52-inch TV and a 47-inch TV.

9:08 p.m. – 4800 W. Erie Ave., man reported his ex-girlfriend broke his motel room’s window.

12:43 p.m. – 1600 block E. 33rd St., a missing 16-year-old girl was located. She reportedly was at a friend’s house.

5:25 p.m. – 600 block Root Road, an inflatable pumpkin Halloween decoration was stolen from a front yard.
