Football playoff scores/highlights

Scores and highlights of  tonight’s first round of playoffs.
Four of five area teams were in action, with EC and Olmsted Falls advancing to the semifinal round — EC in D-IV and Bulldogs in D-II.  Avon and Avon Lake’s seasons ended with losses. The No. 1 Eagles’ loss to No. 8 Sandusky was their first of the season.
Tomorrow night No.6 Columbia (9-1) travels to Hamler to take on No. 3 Patrick Henry (9-1) in Division V action at 7:30
