Man gets 33 months in prison for passing counterfeit bills in Amherst area

ELYRIA — An Avon businessman has been indicted for allegedly failing to maintain proper workers’ compensation insurance. Alan Johnson, 70, faces a single misdemeanor and 10 felony counts of workers’ compensation fraud.
