CHILLICOTHE — The Lorain County Ironmen came from behind, getting 17 hits on their way to a 7-4 and a two-game sweep of Chillicothe.
Jeff Cola was on fire, going 5-for-5 with two homers and four RBIs.
The Paints jumped out 1-0 in the bottom of the first, but it would be their last lead of the game.
Cola tied it with a solo homer in the top of the second. The Ironmen added two more in the second on RBIs from Nolan Neuschaefer and Michael Burke.
Cola’s second home run was a two-run shot in the fifth.
Kevin Hughes (3-0) took the win, pitching six innings, giving up two runs and seven hits, while walking two and striking out three.
Cameron Palmer got the last two outs in the ninth for his third save of the season.
