Your heating and air conditioning system is represents a sizable investment in your home or business. It’s important to keep it running safely and efficiently, keeping you comfortable and secure year-after-year, in every season. Annual service and  maintenance can save you money on repairs, help make your system last longer and keep it running smoothly, so it uses less energy. The U.S. Department of Energy thinks service plans are a good idea.

It makes good sense to do start your annual service with a maintenance plan this spring. During an annual service visit, a technician will check your refrigerant levels, look for leaks, check the ductwork, measure evaporator coil airflow, ensure the electronic sequencing is set up right and the electric terminals are clean and tight. The technician will oil the motors, replace or adjust belts if necessary, and ensure your thermostat is working properly.

Geisel’s popular preventive maintenance plan provides annual inspections, priority emergency service, no emergency over-time charges and a 15 percent discount on any parts and labor if and when they are needed.
