8:11 a.m. – 200 block W. Ninth St., anarchy sign spray painted on garage door and the words “Skull Candy” sprayed on CenturyLink building.
8:30 a.m. – 300 block W. 17th St., someone attempted to enter a home through the kitchen window but was blocked by the security bars.
10:44 a.m. – 3200 block Reid Ave., copper stolen from the basement of two vacant homes.
12:50 p.m. – 36th Street and Reid Avenue, 6-inch scratch found on vehicle.
2:07 p.m. – 1400 block W. 22nd St., piece of broken asphalt thrown through home window.
3:16 p.m. – New Bethal Church, 865 Reid Ave., front doors of church spray painted “Skull Candy”, “F— God,” “Crips” and “With a Star.”
4:54 p.m. – Frank Jacinto Elementary, 2515 Marshall Ave., two boys ages 7 and 10 charged with breaking and entering for allegedly breaking a school window with rocks and entering.
8:43 p.m. – Dairy Mart, 1442 Oberlin Ave., bicycle stolen.
10:31 p.m. – 1300 block S. Danley Square, vehicle antenna and windshield wiper was broken and two tires were flattened.
Sunday, July 10
9:30 a.m. – 900 block N. Central Drive, Xbox 360 and games stolen during home burglary.
9:51 a.m. – 900 block W. Seventh St., Montell Johnson, 32, 2100 block Beech Ave., charged with felonious assault, trafficking in drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
10:42 a.m. – 28th Street Auto Sales, stereo stolen from vehicle.
1:23 p.m. – 700 block Dakota Ave., Charles Seaman, 30, same address, charged with theft of $30.
2:53 p.m. – Lorain Plaza 1100 block Meister Road, trailer stolen.
9:07 p.m. – 4100 block Oak Point Road, boat owner noticed a juvenile male breaking into the vessel as well as a nearby vacant home.
9:50 p.m. – 1400 block Herbert Drive, Mark Krajeski Jr., 22, same address, charged with domestic violence.
Monday, July 11
1:29 p.m. – Super Kmart, 5350 block Leavitt Road, Tony Bartolotta, 51, Amherst, charged with theft after allegedly switching the price tag on a gun case with a lower priced tag.
Wednesday, June 29
5:28 p.m. — 1903 Cooper Foster Park Road, police responded to a complaint from a Verizon Wireless store that an irate customer had thrown a phone at an employee. Upon arrival, officers learned that a male customer was speaking on a phone to a corporate Verizon representative and became upset, at which point the man threw a cell phone toward the employee. The phone missed the man, striking a wall. Then, the customer picked up a landline phone and threw it, and knocking over a store display. Verizon officials declined to press charges but told police they did not want the man to return to the store. Police said the man was very apologetic for his actions and was told to contact store personnel and apologize to them.
Saturday, July 9
2:51 a.m. — Hall Court, Joseph Tomecko, 24, and Dustin Tomecko, 31, each are charged with assault and disturbing the peace. Teresa Solis, 21, charged with obstructing official business and disorderly conduct by intoxication.
Sunday, July 10
4:47 a.m. — State Route 2 near state Route 58, Sarah Puskas, 17, charged with underage consumption and curfew after police said they found her urinating on the highway.
