1:30 a.m. – 32500 block of Lorain Road. Marcell T. Hines, 25, Parma, charged with driving under the influence and failure to use headlights.
2:31 a.m. – 35500 block of Chestnut Ridge Road. Kristen M. Dey, 22, Parma, charged with driving under the influence and reckless operation.
4:28 a.m. – 34960 Center Ridge Road. Brent J. Reszler, 19, Avon Lake, charged with suspicious person and underage consumption. Richard N. Hebebrand, 18, North Ridgeville, charged with suspicious person, underage consumption and disorderly conduct persisting. Police said the pair was arrested after being found in the parking lot of several closed businesses, and Hebebrand was abusive with police and challenged them to a fight.
Sunday, July 17
12:35 a.m. – 39462 Center Ridge Road. A woman told police her brother assaulted her in the parking lot of Crissy’s Place. The woman signed domestic violence charges against her brother, who had not yet been served with the warrant.
2:53 a.m. – 35500 block of Chestnut Ridge Road. Police charged three people after responding to complaints of a large, noisy party. William D. Schrauf, 53, North Ridgeville, charged with noise disturbance and drug abuse. David C. Schrauf, 25, North Ridgeville, charged with noise disturbance and allowing underage consumption. Shane A. Kincer, 20, Lorain, charged with underage consumption.
12:57 p.m. – 32528 Lorain Road. Vanessa Safos, 46, Seven Hills, charged with criminal trespass. Police said the woman slept in a booth at a McDonald’s restaurant for several hours and refused repeated requests by employees to leave.
