Sunday, Aug. 14

11:01 a.m. – 100 block Woodridge Drive, two rings, worth about $1,500 each, reported stolen from an 81-year-old woman.

12:46 p.m. – 600 block Delaware Ave., 47-year-old woman reported that someone stole a roll of chain link fence and 8 aluminum fence posts, valued at about $200, from her backyard.

5:57 p.m. – 100 block Pratt Blvd., 12-year-old boy charged with domestic violence for allegedly punching his mother in the stomach when she was 22 weeks pregnant.

Monday, Aug. 15

6:19 a.m. – 300 block Washington Ave., George A. Seymore, 35, charged with carrying a concealed weapon, having weapons under disability, and improper handling of a firearm.

6:25 a.m. – 1000 block Chestnut Commons Drive, a 39-year-old woman reported damage to her vehicle from an attempted break-in.

Friday, Aug. 12

1:14 p.m. – 1100 block W. Fifth St., garage broken into, $1,050 worth of tools stolen.

2:55 p.m. –1100 block W. Fifth St., garage broken into, $300 power washer stolen, $200 in damage done to door frame.

Saturday, Aug. 13

2:57 p.m. – 1800 block E. 42nd St., cell phone and jewelry with total value of $535 stolen from home, entry through unlocked back door.

9:53 p.m. – Century Park, 1901 E. Erie Ave., man on bicycle who stopped in park to rest, punched in the mouth by a man who fled in a black pickup truck.

10:39 p.m. – 100 block Hamilton Ave., change, motorcycle keys and pistol with total value of $165 stolen from home with entry through window that was removed from door.

11:20 p.m. – 1100 block W. 34th St., television and Wii videogame console with total value of $2,850 stolen from home, entry through rear window.

11:54 p.m. – 100 block W. 23rd St., Tina Hall-Armstrong, 33, Akron, charged with domestic violence and illegally discharging a firearm for allegedly firing two pistol shots during an argument with her husband over him going to a bar.

Sunday Aug. 14

3:51 a.m. – 3200 block Lowell Ave., Derrick A. Boyd, 26, 3200 block Lowell Ave., arrested and charged with domestic violence for allegedly chocking and punching his girlfriend.

5:40 a.m. – 2400 block W. 37th St., DVD player, television and videotapes with total value of $990 stolen from home, entry through window that doesn’t lock.

11:34 p.m. – 1400 block East Ave., Carlisle Township, aggravated robbery with a handgun reported at the Convenient Food Mart. $3,000 in cash stolen.

Saturday, Aug. 6

10:46 p.m. — Leavitt Road, Jason Fox charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication and disorderly conduct persisting after police found him walking in the road.

Sunday, Aug. 7

3:10 a.m. — City parking lot No. 3 at Church Street and Tenney Avenue, Adam Raymond charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication.

11:26 a.m. — Cedar Point police contacted Amherst police to inform them of an alleged ticket scam involving an Amherst woman who reportedly sold copies of fraudulent Cedar Point ticket vouchers. One female victim who resides on Stardust Trail told police she purchased a voucher for $75 and gave it to a relative who was denied admission to the park and told the voucher was phony. Police are investigating.

Friday, Aug. 12

11:12 p.m. — North Leavitt Road, Craig Kunch charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated, weaving, disorderly conduct by intoxication, disorderly conduct by persisting, obstructing official business, and four counts of intimidation.

Saturday, Aug. 13

2 a.m. — West Martin Avenue and Woodbridge Court, Laura Moreno charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, fictitious plates, right-of-way when turning left and license plate light.

Sunday, Aug. 14

1:01 a.m. — West Martin Avenue and Stone Bridge, police cited eight juveniles for underage consumption after they initially investigated reports of four juvenile males putting a boulder in the roadway on West Martin. Police found the four juveniles in the 400 block of West Martin about 1:45 a.m. The youths ran when police approached but were later found and cited, along with four others. A 17-year-old was also charged with underage consumption. John E. Stuller, a homeowner, was charged with sales to underage persons.

9:46 a.m. — 100 block of Ridgeland Drive, a resident reported an overnight burglary in which a number of items were taken.
