Sunday, Aug. 14
11:01 a.m. – 100 block Woodridge Drive, two rings, worth about $1,500 each, reported stolen from an 81-year-old woman.
12:46 p.m. – 600 block Delaware Ave., 47-year-old woman reported that someone stole a roll of chain-link fence and 8 aluminum fence posts, valued at about $200, from her backyard.
5:57 p.m. – 100 block Pratt Blvd., 12-year-old boy charged with domestic violence for allegedly punching his mother in the stomach when she was 22 weeks pregnant.
Monday, Aug. 15
6:19 a.m. – 300 block Washington Ave., George A. Seymore, 35, charged with carrying a concealed weapon, having weapons under disability, and improper handling of a firearm.
6:25 a.m. – 1000 block Chestnut Commons Drive, a 39-year-old woman reported damage to her vehicle from an attempted break-in.
8:05 a.m. — 200 block Washington Ave., Darrell W. Johnson, 44, 100 block Ridge Court Circle, charged with criminal damage and assault for allegedly dislocating a woman’s jaw and throwing a beer bottle through her window, hitting her in the chest.
8:57 a.m. — 100 block Delaware Court, a 29-year-old woman reported receiving harassing text messages.
9:57 a.m. — 600 block Cornell Ave., a 55-year-old man reported that someone broke into his home through a front window and stole a laptop and a Bose stereo system.
11:43 a.m. — 900 block E. Broad St., cigarettes and energy drinks reported stolen from Speedway.
1:21 p.m. — 38900 block Chestnut Ridge Road, a 45-year-old woman reported that someone made $2,860.17 in charges to her bank account without her permission.
1:33 p.m. — 200 block Denison Ave., a 39-year-old man reported that someone stole his wallet from the kitchen table inside his home as well as an iPod Nano from his girlfriend’s vehicle. There was no sign of forced entry.
4:49 p.m. — 200 block Dowd Road, a 39-year-old woman reported a GPS stolen from her vehicle, which had been unlocked.
6:24 p.m. — 400 block Cleveland St., Angela M. Bunch, 30, 37800 block Chestnut Ridge Road, charged with robbery, possession of heroin, tampering with evidence, possessing drug abuse instruments and obstructing official business for allegedly stealing a pop can from a Convenient Food Mart, and running from officers.

11:45 a.m. — 1400 block Meister Road, car passenger window smashed, first aid kit with chargers and maps stolen.
9:40 p.m. — 500 W. 32nd St., juvenile boy, same address, charged with domestic violence for allegedly punching his juvenile sister in the mouth. Boy sent to a juvenile prison.
Monday, Aug. 15
9:04 a.m. — 300 block W. 31st St., Phillip A. Boschetti, 44, same address, arrested and charged with domestic violence for allegedly holding a knife to his girlfriend’s throat and slashing her bicycle tires Boschetti denied holding the knife to his girlfriend’s throat and said she attacked him.
2:17 p.m. — Super Kmart, 5350 Leavitt Road, Marquell Huntington, 26, 2800 block of Forest Hill Drive, Lorain, arrested and charged with robbery for allegedly scuffling with a store security guard who tried to stop him from leaving the store after Huntington allegedly stole four cell phones.
5:15 p.m. — 600 block Root Road, cat shot in the leg, an X-ray found .22 caliber bullet fragments in the leg.
7:15 p.m. —1900 block Lexington Ave., woman knocked down and hit in the head with a rock by the new girlfriend of the woman’s old boyfriend.
9:54 p.m. — 300 block E. Erie Ave., John J. Davis, 31, same address, charged with domestic violence, but not arrested for allegedly punching and kicking his wife.
Tuesday, Aug. 16
1:54 a.m. — 1300 block Brownell Ave., eight shots fired into house, no injuries.
3:45 a.m. — 1000 block W. 11th St., 13 shots fired into house, no injuries
4:11 a.m. — 600 block W. 13th St., man shot in left arm in drive-by shooting, two houses also shot.
4:16 a.m. — 1300 block W. 14th St., bullet hole found on car driver’s side door and spent round recovered. Owner believes it is from shots fired overnight Monday morning.
4:16 a.m. — Parkview Avenue and West 12th Street, Alton C. Goshen Jr., 20, 2100 West 30th Street, Lorain, charged with reckless driving, willfully eluding a police officer, resisting arrest, carrying a concealed weapon, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle and obstructing official business. Karis R. Hampton, 33, 900 block West 14th Street, Lorain, charged with obstructing official business, after they allegedly fled the scene of a shooting in the 600 block of West 13th Street five minutes earlier.
6:53 a.m. — Oberlin Avenue and West Ninth St., .44 caliber Magnum revolver with six spent shell casings inside found in road by bicyclist. Police believe it may have been used by shooter in overnight shootings and police chase.

12:01 a.m. — 200 block Morgan St., Erica R. Pinkston, 19, of Oberlin, charged with failure to control, operating a vehicle impaired and blood-alcohol content over limits after a vehicle hit a pole.

5:45 p.m. — 200 block S. Main St., Oronde E. Holt, 18, of Elyria, charged with receiving stolen property and misuse of a credit card at McDonald’s.

7:10 a.m. — East College Street, Ramone V. Christian, 35, of Oberlin, charged with criminal trespassing and violation of a protection order.
1:47 a.m. — 19 W. College St., officers responded to report of three men fighting.
8:17 p.m. — 600 block W. College St., burglary involving forced entry reported.

5:40 p.m. — Groveland and Locust streets, Charles E. Breeden, 48, of Oberlin, charged with operating a vehicle impaired, obstructing official business and speeding.

9:22 p.m. — State Route 58 and U.S. Route 20, Adam Sherry, 28, of Wellington, charged with driving under suspension, reckless operation and failure to comply with a lawful order.

10:12 a.m. — 100 block N. Cedar St., damage to vehicle.
Saturday, Aug. 6
3:08 p.m. — Kelly and North Main streets, bicyclist Brent E. McManaway, 35, of Wellington, charged with operating a vehicle impaired and operating a vehicle impaired in excess of 0.17 blood alcohol after an officer observed him having difficulty keeping his balance on the bike. McManaway has two prior operating a vehicle impaired convictions, according to a report.
7:36 p.m. — 400 block Maygar St., police responded to an accident and charge Charles R. Boyd, 56, of Wellington, with operating a vehicle impaired offense, reckless operation and open container.
6:37 p.m. — 19000 block state Route 58, Joshua Swick, 30, of Bucyrus, charged with obstructing official business, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, unsafe motor vehicle and failure to reinstate after police stopped a vehicle with a cracked windshield. A passenger, Janelle Mullins, 25, of Ashland, charged with obstructing official business, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sunday, Aug. 7
1:24 a.m. — North Main Street, police responded to a damaged vehicle at the Mosey Inn and investigated a fight at the nearby Fort’s Tavern. Zachary Miller, 23, of Spencer, charged with operating a vehicle impaired and disorderly conduct/intoxication.
