Saturday, Sept. 10

10:30 a.m. — 400 block Cleveland St., $290 video game stolen with entry through front window of home.

3:45 p.m. — Foxhill Lane and North West River Road, Jennifer Pandy, 36, 100 block Hancock Lane, arrested and charged with endangering children for allegedly allowing her 4-year-old son ride his tricycle unsupervised near a busy intersection.

10:38 p.m. — 200 block Winckles St., Aaron Frost, no age or address listed, charged with menacing and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, but not arrested, for allegedly refusing to return the car he borrowed from his estranged girlfriend and threatening to kill her.

Monday, Sept. 12

9:55 a.m. — 500 block Stanford Ave., a woman reported that someone stole her handicap placard from the rearview mirror. The vehicle had been unlocked, and nothing else was taken.

10:43 a.m. — 100 block Cascade St., a woman reported that someone ripped the rear temporary tag off her vehicle.

6:12 p.m. — 200 block Sixth St., Jennifer Kopis, 23, 200 block S. Abbe Road, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a marijuana pipe in her purse.

6:46 p.m. — 200 block Eighth St., Benjamin Pinkston, 40, same address, charged with domestic violence for allegedly hitting his girlfriend in the face and upper torso.

7:53 p.m. — 400 block Broad St., a woman reported that the left rear passenger window of her vehicle was broken when she was parked in the lot at Moss’s Restaurant. Nothing was taken.

8:00 p.m. — St. Mary’s Church, 300 block Middle Ave., a woman reported that someone broke the driver’s side window of her vehicle and stole her purse, which contained a checkbook and several of her children’s Social Security cards.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

12:31 a.m. — 200 block 16th St., a man reported a credit card and a 9-mm semi-automatic handgun stolen from his home.

1:14 a.m. — 100 block Brookvalley Drive, Robert Keiper, 56, same address, charged with domestic violence for allegedly pushing his brother and breaking a glass door.

9:53 a.m. — 600 block State St., a woman reported that someone stole a flat-screen TV and credit cards from her mother’s home.

10:24 a.m. — 200 block Longfellow St., a woman reported that two “pit bull” mix dogs broke through her backyard fence and attacked her dog.

10:36 a.m. — 300 block Fourth St., a man reported that someone entered a home that was being prepared to rent and stole all the copper piping. The suspect had possibly gained entry through a broken basement window.

11:11 a.m. — 200 block Fairlawn Ave., a woman reported jewelry missing from her home, including about $60 in coins. She wasn’t sure when the theft happened.

1:34 p.m. — 200 block Chestnut St., a woman reported that someone used her Social Security number and name for an unpaid $80 cable bill from Dish Network, in 2008. Her Social Security card had been missing at that time.

2:28 p.m. — 100 block Park Meadow Drive, The Crossings, two closet doors broken off the hinges, a bedroom door broken in half, and holes in two walls reported after the tenants in an apartment left.

3:12 p.m. — 1900 block Fowl Road, two men reported that someone broke the doorknob to their apartment and stole a PlayStation 3, four DVDs, 15 PlayStation 3 games and $25 cash.

3:48 p.m. — Eighth Street and West Avenue, 15-year-old juvenile female reported missing after she jumped out of her mother’s car and ran off.

5:16 p.m. — 1200 block Middle Ave., a woman reported that someone stole $400 cash; a cell phone and her husband’s wallet, which contained $200 and his identification, from her vehicle.

5:28 p.m. — 400 block Kenyon Ave., juvenile male, 15, charged with criminal damaging for allegedly denting the driver’s side rear truck bed of a vehicle.

5:33 p.m. — Middle Avenue and Broad Street, Alan Hardy, 23, 1600 block West Ave., and Terrence Oliver, 25, 100 block Bellfield Ave., both charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

7:38 p.m. — 300 block Broad St., Shawn Paramore, 22, 200 block Park Meadow Drive, charged with criminal trespass and obstructing official business and Tasha McCraw, 22, 200 block Cascade St.; Rusty Conrad, 22, 800 block Bond St.; and Patrick Ennis, 20, all charged with criminal trespass for allegedly climbing on the roof of a building.

7:46 p.m. — Midway Mall, Ashia Hollis, 18, charged with theft for allegedly undercutting prices for clothing items at Macy’s. Hollis is an employee of the store. The alleged loss to Macy’s was $193.02

9:06 p.m. — 100 block Market Drive, a man reported a cell phone stolen from his truck.

10:07 p.m. — 100 block Driftwood Court, a woman reported that someone stole two laptops from her home.

10:08 p.m. — 600 block Middle Ave., a man reported receiving threatening text messages from the mother of his children.

10:15 p.m. — 200 block Midway Blvd., a manager reported that a man left BW3’s without paying his $29.68 tab.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

1:57 a.m. — 800 Rosewood Drive, a man reported that his back wooden fence had been damaged, with sections pushed into his yard.

5:12 a.m. — 5:12 a.m. — 100 block Portia Court, Marcus Johnson, 25, charged with disorderly conduct persisting for allegedly creating a disturbance.

6:16 a.m. — Second Street and West Avenue, two women reported that the right rear passenger windows to their vehicles had been broken overnight. Nothing had been taken.

7:15 a.m. — 500 block Broad St., a woman reported that the rear window of her vehicle had been shot and shattered, possibly with a BB gun, while she had been parked in front of Moss’s restaurant.

Saturday, Sept. 10

3:40 a.m. — 600 block Brownwell Ave., two windows shattered in home by thrown rocks, resident says she saw a man running from home after windows were broken.

4:26 a.m. — Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain, 3700 Kolbe Road, man with neck wound said he fell into a broken window cutting himself, man’s sister said he told her he was stabbed by their nephew when he tried to kick the nephew out of the man’s residence.

10:54 p.m. — 2500 block W. 40th St., lockbox with $12,000 worth of stock certificates stolen along with fake jewelry. Resident suspects man doing plumbing and his wife stole the lockbox.

1:53 p.m. — 4200 block Laurel Road, revolver stolen from under bed, homeowner believes theft happened about two weeks ago with entry through bedroom window.

4:29 p.m. — 5200 block Clovelly Drive, circular saw worth $340 and gas can stolen from unlocked shed

4:44 p.m. — 5200 block Clovelly Drive, shed broken into, resident uncertain if anything is stolen.

5:26 p.m. — 1200 block Shaffer Drive, left front and rear tires of car in apartment parking lot punctured, tires worth $250.

Monday, Sept. 12

9:24 a.m. — St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 2000 Tower Blvd., $280 necklace on display in annual Greek Festival stolen on Saturday.

10:50 a.m. — East 28th Street and Broadway, man says a car with three men he doesn’t know tailgated him then pulled next to him with the front seat passenger pointing a gun at him. The car then drove north on Lexington Avenue.

12:26 p.m. — 1700 block E. 36th St., back door to home kicked in and lock box, television and video games worth $1,126 stolen.

2:47 p.m. — 2200 block Adams St., 50-year-old city man said three men he doesn’t know the full names of approached him and repeatedly kicked and punched him.

4:26 p.m. — 4100 block Riverview Lane, house with unlocked back door ransacked and $150 stolen between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

8:36 p.m. — 1300 block W. 14th St., Marqua D. King, 27, 300 block E. 22nd St., Lorain, charged with assault and aggravated menacing, but not arrested, for allegedly slapping a woman and threatening to shoot her and her family. The family suspected King had broken into their home and stole basketball shoes.

9:12 p.m. — American Legion Post, 1112 W. Erie Ave., unlocked 2010 silver Ford Flex with checkbooks inside stolen.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

6 a.m. — 2800 block Garfield Blvd., woman said man tried to enter her home through a window and ran away when she screamed.

6:48 a.m. — 2900 block Leavitt Road, car passenger side window forced down and $200 car stereo stolen overnight.

11:53 a.m. — 500 block W. 13th St., several windows in home broken, causing $500 in damage and a $100 computer monitor stolen.

12:07 a.m. — 4000 block Gary Ave., drawings of penises and swastikas keyed onto van. Son of van owner says two boys did it and he was afraid to tell his father.

2:25 p.m. — Lorain Public Library main branch, 225 W. Sixth St., rear window of library employee’s car broken out ,causing $250 in damage, nothing appears to have been stolen.

3:32 p.m. — 1800 block Washington Ave., 13-year-old boy, 2500 block Washington Ave., Lorain, arrested and charged with assault, inducing panic and menacing for allegedly shooting another youth with a BB pistol, brandishing it and refusing to immediately comply with a police officer who wanted to search him.

5:38 p.m. — 5800 block Gargasz Drive, XBox worth $625 stolen from home. Entry was gained through an unlocked front door.

7:10 p.m. — 600 block E. 32nd St., 16-year-old boy, same address, arrested and charged with domestic violence for allegedly slapping his sister and slamming her against a wall.

8:11 p.m. — 1900 block E. 31st St., computer and video games worth $2,850 stolen from home. Resident believes burglar is his father, who has a drug habit and knew where a spare key to the home was kept.

10:05 p.m. — Marshall Apartments, 2511 Reeves Ave, purse and phone stolen from car in parking lot, no signs of forced entry.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

12:40 a.m. — Livingston Avenue and West 17th Street, Raymond Tate, 55, homeless, arrested and charged with assault for allegedly punching a woman in the stomach and repeatedly kicking her after approaching her on the street and saying she owed him $30. The woman told police she didn’t know Tate.

1:18 a.m. — 500 block W. 25th St., John L. Armstrong Sr., 56, charged with domestic violence, but not arrested for allegedly shoving a woman three or four times after accusing her of infidelity.

Tuesday, Sept. 6
7:36 a.m. — 5700 Jaycox Road, a custodian at Liberty Elementary School reported damage estimated at $200 to a brick wall.

Thursday, Sept. 8

7:59 a.m. — 39400 block Center Ridge Road, James L. Burnett III, 20, of North Ridgeville, charged with failure to stop after an accident, driving under suspension and careless operation on public or private streets following a hit-skip accident.

3:36 p.m. — 7400 block Dyke Ave., A resident reported paying $287 for work to be done at his home but told police the work was never begun.

5:12 p.m. — 33900 Dodge Ave., police received reports of damage to the concession stand at Palmer Field.

Saturday, Sept. 10

9:41 a.m. — Center Ridge Road and Mills Creek Lane, James A. Brisbine, 41, of North Ridgeville, charged with driving under the influence and reckless operation.

9:40 p.m. — Case Road and Center Ridge Road, Richard T. Wass, 49, of Elyria, charged with speeding and driving under the influence.

Sunday, Sept. 11

12:09 a.m. — Dorchester Avenue and state Route 83, Cheryl L. Grillo, 56, of Olmsted Falls, charged with driving under the influence.

2:33 a.m. — Sicily Drive and Root Road, James L. Maier, 51, of Strongsville, charged with driving under the influence.

1:25 p.m. — 38400 Center Ridge Road, Randall D. Raines, 33, of Cleveland, charged with theft by deception at a local Marc’s store.

2:30 p.m. — 5200 block Olive Ave., a resident reported the theft of a GPS unit and laptop computer from a vehicle parked in the driveway. The items were valued at $1,950.

12:49 a.m. — Lear-Nagle and Center Ridge roads, Patricia M. Harris, 42, of North Ridgeville, charged with driving under the influence.
