Mary Ann Berthold

Mary Ann Berthold, 57, of Lorain, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Lorain on September 29, 1953 and had been a lifelong resident.

Mary Ann was a supervisor in the restaurant industry and had worked at the Turnpike Plaza for many years. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst. Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Survivors include her sister, Rosemary (Ted) Shook of Elyria; sister-in-law, Sandra Berthold of Amherst; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred W. and Mary Agnes (Edwards) Berthold; brothers, William G. Berthold and James A. Berthold; great niece, Karrie Jean; and her great nephew, Dakota.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service Friday, September 23, 2011, 12 Noon, at St. Mary Cemetery, located behind St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 2640 Stoney Ridge Road, Avon.

Arrangements are being handled by Wyers Funeral Chapel of Sheffield Township.
