Tuesday, Sept. 27

6:26 a.m. — 200 block Louisiana Ave., a woman reported that someone broke the driver’s side window of her vehicle. The vehicle had not been entered.

7:20 a.m. — 100 block Brace Ave., a woman reported that someone slashed all four of her tires.

9:06 a.m. — 400 block Cleveland St., CVS, a manager reported that a man stole a case of Miller Lite beer, valued at $18.49. The same man stole beer from the store Sunday.

11:49 p.m. — 500 block Eagle Court, a woman reported that someone stole one of her wheelchairs from outside her house.

12:15 p.m. — 300 block Third St., a woman reported that someone broke the passenger side rear window of her vehicle.

1:01 p.m. — 1100 block Oakwood Drive, a woman reported that someone had intentionally poured oil into her brake line, causing damage.

1:15 p.m. — 600 block Furnace St., Lisa Estus, 47, 500 block S. Abbe Road, charged with possession of heroin, drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.

2:09 p.m. — Earl Court and West Avenue, a woman reported that someone broke the passenger side front window of her vehicle and stole a book of checks, her driver’s license and various credit cards.

3:23 p.m. — 200 block Ninth St., a woman reported that someone stole a knife and sunglasses from her parents’ garage.

4:27 p.m. — Earl Court and West Avenue, a woman reported that someone broke the passenger side window of her vehicle and stole her purse, containing a driver’s license, bank cards and a check. Another vehicle break-in occurred in the same area.

4:45 p.m. — 100 block Caroline St., a woman reported that someone followed her in a vehicle, punched her car and tow truck, the slapped her in the face. The man was charged, but not yet arrested, for assault.

5:22 p.m. — 900 block E. Broad St., James Daley, 19, 7500 block Oberlin Road, charged with domestic violence and aggravated menacing for allegedly striking his sister while holding a silver pistol.

5:48 p.m. — 800 block Purdue Ave., a man reported that someone stole $5,000 worth of tools and car parts for a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle in his garage.

6:28 p.m. — 100 block Middle Ave., a woman reported that someone broke the passenger side window of her vehicle and stole her purse containing a driver’s license, Social Security card, debit card and a green Bible.

11:03 p.m. — 100 block Bohannon Court, James Huff Jr., 21, Lorain, charged with possession of marijuana.

Wednesday, Sept. 28

2:45 a.m. — 200 block N. Abbe Road, a man reported hearing breaking glass. A small sliding glass window at a business had been broken, but the suspect was not located.

2:51 a.m. — 200 block Warden Ave., a man reported that he was stabbed by an unknown assailant with an unknown object while getting into his vehicle.

5:45 a.m. — 100 block Gulf Road, a woman reported that someone stole 10 CDs, an iPod and $2 in change from her vehicle. She had forgotten to lock it. After she secured the vehicle, someone later cracked her windshield with an unknown object.

Tuesday, Sept. 27

5:23 a.m. — 1600 block E. 34th St., front door kicked in, three computers, a television and video game worth $3,300 stolen.

4:23 p.m. — 1100 block W. 22nd St., as she pulled into her driveway, resident told police she saw three of four teenaged boys pushing an air conditioner in to break into her home. She said she confronted one of the boys inside her home and he ran and knocked her down when she called police. The boy is described as black, about 5 foot, 8 inches with a slender build wearing a black baseball cap, black T-shirt, black jeans, black book bag with a Michael Jordan symbol. The boy rode a black bicycle. Police said the boys stole a computer and jewelry worth $925.

6:25 p.m. — 1000 block W. 29th St., home broken into through kitchen window, $350 computer stolen.

10:22 p.m. — 1400 block W. 24th St., garage broken into and bronze, 2008 four-door Chevy Malibu license FER7830 stolen.

11:23 p.m. — 1000 block W. Ninth St., Damien L. Neal, 32, same address, charged with domestic violence, but not arrested, for allegedly choking and slamming his six weeks pregnant girlfriend into a wall. The woman said the incident occurred after she found Neal in bed with another woman.

11:42 p.m. — McDonald’s, 1800 Colorado Ave., Donna J. McCartney, 41, 1000 block W. 20th St., Lorain, arrested and charged with drunken driving and driving with a suspended license. Police said McCartney had a blood alcohol content of 0.197, more than twice the legal limit of 0.008.

Wednesday, Sept. 28

12:20 a.m. — 3400 block Kneirim Drive, Christopher A. Knight, 30,same address, arrested and charged with domestic violence for allegedly pushing his wife and pinning her up against the wall after she told him she wanted a divorce.

3:26 a.m. — 2600 block Apple Ave., Holly A. McGuire, 30, same address, charged with domestic violence, but not arrested, for allegedly punching boyfriend.

Friday, Sept. 23

1:44 p.m. — Cook Road, Adam J. Roush, 31, of Lorain, charged with receiving stolen property and driving under suspension after police recovered a vehicle reported stolen in Cleveland.

7:47 p.m. — Lorain and Bagley roads, Mark R. Gorney, 33, of North Ridgeville, charged with driving under the influence.

Saturday, Sept. 24

1:51 a.m. — Jaycox Road, Mary E. Carollo, 52, of North Ridgeville, charged with driving under the influence.

8:43 p.m. — 5900 block Jaycox Road, James B. Fazekas, 56, of North Ridgeville, charged with domestic violence.

Sunday, Sept. 25

1:04 a.m. — Root and Lorain roads, Deborah J. Girdler, 40, of North Ridgeville, charged with driving under the influence and a red light violation.

Monday, Sept. 26

1:08 p.m. — 35544 Lorain Road, Dobie Pallets reported the theft of $5,000 in power and hand tools following a break-in.
