Friday, Oct. 21

2:43 p.m. – 3300 block Cleveland Blvd., Terra Kay Blinco, 31, charged with domestic violence.

Saturday, Oct. 22

11:21 a.m. — 1100 block W. 11th St., James R. Herrell, 21, 1100 block W. 11th St., Lorain, arrested and charged with domestic violence. Herrell is accused of punching his girlfriend, who is five months pregnant, in the legs and pulling her hair. Herrell denied the accusations when arrested, according to police Officer Richard Broz’s incident report.

4:04 p.m. — 3700 N. Hogan Drive, locked garage door pried open, $900 generator stolen.

6:59 p.m. — 4600 block Palm Ave., front door to home kicked in causing $200 in damage. $400 television stolen.

7:58 p.m. — 1800 block Homewood Drive, David W. Copley, 41, 1800 block Homewood Drive, Lorain, arrested and charged with menacing by stalking. A woman in Copley’s apartment complex said he has been following her throughout the building, listening at her door and leaving sexually explicit voice mails, and that he sent her a letter saying he wanted to have children with her and if that he can’t have her no one can, police said.

3:14 a.m. — 1800 block E. 31st St., Nathan Anderson, 29, same address, charged with domestic violence for alleged fight with mother of his child.

9:57 a.m. — 1800 block E. 42nd St., landscaping in front of home destroyed overnight.

1:08 p.m. — Walmart, 4380 Leavitt Road, Brian Murphy, 24, charged with theft of cologne.

5:17 p.m. — 2400 block Didrickson Drive, copper piping stolen from vacant home.

6:01 p.m. — 800 block Lovett Place, Charlena Ward, 56, charged with domestic violence for alleged fight with niece.

8:04 p.m. — 400 block W. 22nd St., burglar appears to have pushed in an air conditioner window unit but was chased away from home by pit bull inside.

10:01 p.m. — 200 block Euclid Ave., home entered and items moved, but nothing taken.

11:01 p.m. — 7-Eleven, 3054 Leavitt Road, three 12-packs of beer stolen. Robber told clerk “sorry” before leaving with items.

10:03 a.m. — Dollar General, 4660 Oberlin Ave., bottle of vodka stolen.

7:07 p.m. — 1100 block Inland Drive, John Keegan cited for dog at large, after his boxer killed two four-week-old kittens in a neighbor’s garage. The dog had escaped from its home by jumping through a window.

12:28 a.m. — Liberty Avenue east end, Oscar Nelson charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (second offense).

Sunday, Oct. 16

10:58 a.m. — 4400 block Liberty Ave., Giant Eagle, a manager reported finding a packet of white powder on the counter near the bags at a checkout aisle. The powder was determined to be cocaine.

Monday, Oct. 17

12:19 a.m. — 4700 block Liberty Ave., Robert Baswell, 47, Vermilion, charged with theft and possession of criminal tools for allegedly stealing money from the Sweepstakes Internet Cafe.

11:57 a.m. — 300 block Essex Road, a man reported some of his wife’s jewelry had been taken after they had asked two workers to remove scrap metal from their home.
